Five Yorkshire parks named as favourites August 31, 2022
Some 364 parks across the UK were nominated and voted upon for the Favourite Park 2022 award organised by Fields in Trust, a charity which champions parks and green spaces.
The overall winner this year was the Penrhos Coastal Park at Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey, in Wales, but making the regional top five Local Favorites list for Yorkshire and Humber are Beaumont Park in Huddersfield , West Yorkshire; Graves Park in Sheffield , South Yorkshire; Parkinson's Park in Guiseley , West Yorkshire; Roundhay Park in Leeds , West Yorkshire; and Rowntree Park in York .
