Sheffield United will be sole Yorkshire hope in Premier League May 17, 2019

Sheffield United will be representing Yorkshire in the 2019-20 Premier League seasonSheffield United is the only team that will be representing Yorkshire in football's top flight in the 2019-20 season as they take over from relegated Huddersfield Town, the only team which has been upholding the flag for the region in the Premier League for the past two seasons.

As Huddersfield Town head back down to the Championship they will be meeting several Yorkshire clubs, which now include Leeds, Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City and also Barnsley who join the Championship from League One next season as Rotherham go down.

Doncaster Rovers will be staying in League One after losing on penalties in their play-off semi-finals.
