Yorkshire Sculpture Park

West Bretton

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park at West Bretton is around five miles south west of Wakefield, six miles north west of Barnsley and nine miles east of Huddersfield.

Set in around 500 acres of beautiful parkland within the Bretton Estate adjoining Bretton Hall, Yorkshire Sculpture Park offers what is probably the finest outdoor exhibition space in the country for modern and contemporary sculpture, attracting regional, national and international exhibits.

The museum also has indoor exhibition spaces, cafes and shops.

Travel


The museum car parks are accessed off the A637 between West Bretton and junction 38 of the M1. While access to the park is free, there are charges for parking.

Bus 96 between Wakefield and Barnsley stops nearby. Bus 435 between Wakefield and Holmfirth stops about a one mile walk from the park.
