Ribble Valley district of Lancashire  X 

Ribble Valley, which has both the red rose and white rose in its coat of arms, was a district created in 1974 including the vast area of the Bowland Rural District of the West Riding of Yorkshire.

It coupled this area with the area around the administrative town of Clitheroe in Lancashire.
